PLEASE HELP MELVIN THE DOG….
So its been a long while since I made a post but here is some stuff that rounded out 2010 and brought in the beginning of 2011. I hope you enjoy them. The end of last year i painted a bunch of flash sheets, more as a learning / getting comfortable with what I find being more of my personal style. The last flash sheet was a split with Bryan Kachel From Cicada Tattoo in Seattle. This is the second sheet of 2. It was a lot of fun doing split sheets, I plan to do more of that sort of thing this year. The moth tattoo is on my friend Shay Roth. It was a lot of fun and well needed. The Russian Doll is on my girlfriend Jessica, It is in her inner arm and a bit swollen so the photo is a bit wonky. I will post a healed and less swollen photo later. The other 2 tattoos were walk-in tattoos. They were a lot of fun, and I have had a great time in trying to hone my grey wash skills, it is a tough business. This year seems to be off to a great start both business wise and personally. I hope all is well with everyone else as well.
ON A SIDE NOTE…… one of my good friends and former co-workers JOHN RAFTERY needs everyones help. His puppy dog melvin was diagnosed with a Brain tumor that if left untreated will result in death within a short time. We are asking that you visit this blog and donate if you can… There are also paintings for sale via Johns Blog and His Twitter. Please do a great person and a great dog the favor of a few dollars every bit helps…
